Peak-end Rule Examples

This principle states that people judge an experience based on how they felt at its peak and its end, not the average of every moment. For example, 50% of the satisfaction of a meal is attributed to the quality of the dessert or final course – also known as the “Baked Alaska Effect” in food service.
